The weather and changing conditions have again become protagonists during the weekend's German Grand Prix. During training the MotoGP riders have had sessions in dry and wet, so they were prepared for any condition in the race. Reale pilots Avintia Racing highlighted in rain, with Héctor Barberá leading the second free on Friday and Loris Baz struggling to get into Q2 on Saturday. But although today there was rain forecast for the race, finally they have disputed the 30 laps short.

Héctor Barberá could not complete more than a third of the race. Spanish has jumped the start and after failing to see the messages in the 'display' of his bike, nor blackboards team and race direction for a 'Ride Through', has finally seen the Black Flag and has been disqualified.

Loris Baz came 14th on the grid and has won several positions in the early laps. The Frenchman had hoped to finish the race in scoring points, but after several laps started to lose grip on the rear tire, has been unable to keep pace and crossed the finish line 19th.

The MotoGP World Championship now takes a break of almost four weeks to return to action with the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic at the Brno circuit on 6 August.
