13/09/15 Avintia Racing MotoGP - GP of San Marino - career

Everything was prepared for the race day, Héctor Barberá had prepared Grand Prix better than ever, but changing weather conditions have scuppered all weekend work. Teammate Mike Di Meglio is satisfied after having finished 13th, his best result of the season, but the French pilot of the Avintia Racing thinks that changing before moto could have finished even higher. Output is made with dry pastes, but after five turns it has started to rain and pilots have entered to the pit to take their bikes with settings and tires of water. In these conditions Barbera has come to be in the top ten, but joy lasted little, because without rain the track has begun to dry quickly. Some pilots have taken the risk of switching to dry quickly and the bet has left them very well. Barbera has taken too much losing all their options, while Di Meglio has managed to trace several positions with the bike's dry to the points.
The Open Championship is complicated for Héctor Barberá who arrived at Misano eight-point advantage over Loris Baz and goes with five against. But there are five racing ahead which are as five final for the Spanish rider.

Hector BARBERA #8 / 18º (P5 Open) @HectorBarbera
It has been a very difficult race because the worst conditions we could imagine have been given. When we come out with dry tyres were well positioned and also to make the first change with the Jet. But I've waited a long time to change to dry again and there I've lost practically everything. Loris Baz has done very well it's finished fourth and has happened in the classification. We are now five points and there are five races in which we will have to get the batteries. They will be like five finals and the positive is that the next is at home, in Aragon, a track that we can be better. We have to stay calm and try to be smarter in the next few races, especially if repeated situations like today's.
