Héctor Barberá not have been today the fastest pilots Open on a day when rain interrupted the first free session. But in the afternoon in almost perfect conditions, we have seen a very disputed session in which Barbera finished 13th to less than a second of Marc Márquez, the fastest of the day. His feelings about his Ducati Desmosedici GP14.1 have been good since the first exit, and he believes he still has much room for improvement. For this reason, the Spanish pilot of the Avintia Racing, tomorrow waiting to cut the tenth of a second that separates him from Jack Miller, the best today in Open.
Hector BARBERA #8 / 13th (P3 Open) 1' 30.278 @HectorBarbera
In the morning we started with intermittent rain, but even so the sensations have been very good. This afternoon the Sun has shone and I have seen that I am very good with the bike, I have good pace and we have done a good job considering the race. At the end, we have assembled a soft tire, though not I've been able to use it well. But I am only one-tenth of Miller that today has been the best Open and two tenths of the sixth, ahead of any official moto. We are working well and if we continue this Sunday will be prepared.
